About Renee
Renee Lamshed - Master of Counselling, Bachelor of Science (Medical Science), Member of Australian Counselling Association
Originally from Western Australia, Renee has been living in Mudgee for 16 years after relocating from Perth to Darwin Adelaide and Alice Springs.
Renee graduated from Edith Cowan University after completing a Master of Counselling and Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) from Curtin University of Technology in WA.
Renee brings a broad range of counselling experience, supporting children, adolescents, and adults across all life stages. She has a particular interest in working with people living with disability, LGBTIQ+ clients, grief and loss, individuals impacted by trauma, and those seeking support with couples and family relationships.
Renee is enthusiastic about Sand Play Therapy, a Jungian concept, in accessing the deepest unconscious thoughts, feelings, processing trauma and fostering personal growth. Though often associated with children, it can be greatly effective for adults.
Renee is currently upskilling to include Neurodiversity Coaching for ADHD and Autism in adults
Her inclusive, compassionate approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs and experiences.
Renee volunteers with the National Association for Loss and Grief (NALAG) and Lifeline.
Renee's passions include SCUBA diving, native horticulture and her two Jack Russells.
